Announcement for the Change of Dates

Dear friends,

In February 2026, we announced the 1st FREEDOM RUN, from Messolonghi to Nafplio, with the start on April 23rd and the last athlete finishing on April 27th.

Following pressure from Municipalities along the route, we are forced to postpone the event by approximately one month. The new dates are May 28 – June 1, 2026.

The main reason is that repair work on two sections of the route that deteriorated greatly after the recent heavy rainfall has not been completed yet.

We have already notified all registered participants. We are very sorry for this postponement, but we do not want athletes to face difficulties crossing these areas.
